The short answer is no – our product recommendations are not influenced by remuneration but by what’s right for you. We don’t have preferential or exclusive arrangements with any of our providers . That means you can be sure the recommendations we make regarding product providers and solutions are based solely on your best interests. ALAN HARTLES
Financial Advisor | Principal
Alan is the Director and Principal Adviser of True North Investments. Having been an adviser for over 30 years, Alan is focused on providing the right financial solutions for his clients and in particular clients who are looking for retirement planning advice. Alan is acknowledged by his clients and peers for his professional approach in providing advice that meets his client’s needs. This has been instrumental in keeping Alan at the top of his profession and in developing True North Investments into the successful business it is today.
Alan is a regular at his local gym as he believes in keeping fit and healthy and he enjoys the social engagement of golf, and cycling. Alan and Rachel are planning to do more cycling and tramping holidays around New Zealand.
STEVE MANSFIELD
Financial Advisor
Steve worked as a dentist for over 20 years, working in NZ, Australia and the Middle East. After leaving dentistry Steve obtained an MBA ( distinction) and started a small business.
In July 2017, he joined TNI as a personal risk adviser.
Steve's role has changed over the years and now works as investment para-planner for Alan as well as looking after insurance clients.
